Practice/Mission/Vision Statement
Since 1924, Judson Center has been a trusted non-profit community services resource in southeast Michigan that enables individuals of all ages and their families to live the best lives possible. In October 2009, Judson Center partnered with the Foundation for Exceptional Children (FEC) to create Judson Center Grosse Pointe. This partnership will enable Judson Center to expand services to further meet the needs of the children and families in Grosse Pointe and the surrounding community.
Specialties and Services
- Supported Employment to assist adults with developmental disabilities obtain employment
- FRIENDS Group, bringing together adults with disabilities, ages 16 and up, from Wayne and Macomb Counties for social and recreational opportunities
- Therapeutic Children's Afterschool Program
- Parent education series
- Kids Night-In respite evenings
- Therapeutic Summer Program for children ages 4-18 with autism and other developmental disabilities
